Data Collection

Katib does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All speech processing happens locally on your device.

Audio Data

Audio captured by Katib is processed entirely on your machine using local transcription models. No audio is sent to any cloud service. Recorded audio is discarded after transcription unless you explicitly save it.

Transcription History

Transcription history is stored locally on your device. You can clear this history at any time from the app settings.

Analytics

The Katib desktop application does not include any analytics or tracking. This website may use basic analytics to understand page visits.
